Overview
: Financial Services client is seeking a Regional Operations Manager who will report into the Global Operations Manager and will work in close partnership with Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Services (CREWS) broader team and contractors to achieve key milestones for the firm. The assigned region is North America including Toronto, with a primary focus on Colorado Spring Campus with oversight of satellite offices as assigned. Ensuring all Mail Center services, Hospitality, Construction, Moves Adds and Changes, and Facility Management services and programs are planned, managed and delivered in a consistent manner across the Colorado Springs and assigned locations. Serve as the onsite CREWS leadership, providing guidance and oversight to third party service delivery teams, serves as the primary point of contact to the local contractors as well as the local leadership team.
Basic Qualifications (Education and Experience):
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field (architecture, engineering, real estate or business administration, other) required
- Demonstrated experience in running effective corporate real estate and facilities operations management.
- Responsible for providing guidance and direction for Facilities Management, Moves Adds and Changes (MAC), project management, and Workplace Services functions in the Colorado Springs Campus and satellite offices as assigned
- Provide oversight of all local program deliverables for new and existing programming, and standard operating procedures enforcement, including enforcing SLAs/KPIs with contractors
- Serve as a trusted Operations advisor for our CREWS team and provide input into the annual capital and department planning process that will lead to continued improvements and accelerate our CREWS milestones
- Maintain and update project documentation and infrastructure (SharePoint, etc.) and accurately report on project milestones and key deliverables
- Lead multiple project workstreams concurrently, and drive accountability from project team to achieve results, including identifying issues/risks and appropriately escalating for resolution
- Leverage relationships to successfully complete real estate activities at all levels throughout the organization. Work directly with other business units, finance, accounting, transaction management, and senior management. Partner with other stakeholders to develop and implement consensual decisions
- Support cross-functional efforts within the CREWS and broader team to pursue and maintain LEED, BREEAM, and other building-related certifications, as applicable
- Work closely with our Hospitality Manager and Sustainability Managers and help liaise and coordinate efforts to drive accountability and effective delivery for all hospitality related programming as well as the firm’s sustainability goals
- Work closely with internal customers and local campus and office leaders to establish their objectives and communicate their needs and expectations to all appropriate partners
- Lead cross-functional efforts to implement data management content, data governance, systems and operational process in a consistent manner
- Work closely with Workplace Solutions team members to establish, update and delete as needed conference rooms in Outlook and internal Room Booking System based on conference room projects.
- Accurately identify and monitor conflicts and issues that may impact the availability, integrity and completeness of the program
- Be proactive in bringing new ideas, innovations and solutions to the CREWS team as part of the annual operating plan
- Displays leadership at all times, exemplifying excellent customer service and communicating expectations with our service partners and gathering the local team’s feedback and needs
- Deep experience conducting financial/business analysis including preparation of reports
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, and possesses strong data-driven mentality
- Demonstrated ability to define and set expectations, and influence and execute multiple concurrent projects
- Strong executive presentation skills, both oral and written. Able to tailor communication style to effectively meet the needs of the audience
- Understanding of regional cultural norms
